I've been excited for many players commited to this program: Shane Morris, Derrick Green (still am excited), Ondre Pipkins, Kyle Kalis, Dymonte Thomas, Dennis Norfleet, George Campbell, Drake Harris, Damien Harris and potentially Malik McDowell and Da'Shawn Hand.

None of them come close to the excitement level I got when Jabril Peppers joined. I've been on the Peppers train since day one, I will buy his jersey number when it is announced as a freshman. This kid is going to be scary good. I drank the kool aid.

I'm thinking he hit RT for a speed burst, a couple LT juke moves, a truck stick, like three straight O spin moves, another truck stick, another speed burst....

Was able to slip out of work to catch the scrimmage for an hour.  Was able to see this run in person and it was pretty rediculous.  Peppers just has that look of an elite athlete on the field, and definately stood out from the rest.  He was split out wide on a lot of the formations and was almost like a decoy as they thew a lot of short passes and screens to other players.  He also had a nice TD reception where he blew past everyone from the outside reciever position.  Defensively, he looked good in coverage, and on run plays he seemed to diagnose plays quickly and fly to the ball.  Can't wait to see him play at the Big House.

It seems like he could play for Michigan this year - like LeBron could play in the NBA after this junior year of high school - could play this year.  Just an unbelievable athlete.  And he fits the Pattern?  Even better.
