Really piss poor perfomance by Xavier the last 4 minutes. Wow. Coaching and players. Their best player imo got jobbed on his last foul to foul out but regardless, they should've executed better down the stretch. They just let Leonard Hamilton and FSU beat them after being up 10+.

Every opportunity is there. The top seed left on our entire half of the bracket, better kenpom than all but one. This could be greatness. Or a setup for awful disappointment. But all you can do is win the game you're in. The Poole shot looms larger now that our opponents are all, like us, ragtag bands of spare parts and duct tape. Every game is winnable. Win the Game.

Holy shit can you imagine how suicidal this blog would be today if we lost yesterday and saw we choked away this bracket? We're the highest seed left!

UNC was the only team I was afraid of on Michigan's side of the bracket. I feel a lot better now. I had UNC and Purdue in the chamionship.

not sure why people were complaining about the seeding to be honest...i mean sure, home crowd, but there was lot of like about the bracket beyond location

Brian and Ace thought it was actually a good bracket for michigan in terms of matchup with Montana and assuming Houston, along with the worse #1 seed... the first game started badly and the second game was a stroke of good fortune...

Michigan's path is there, but Michigan needs to start playing like Michigan again too...

in the sweet 16, everyone is playing well

...we're in.  We're the highest remaining seed on our side of the bracket.  We can't face a higher seeded team until the final Monday night of the season.

Makes me super excited for Thursday & anything short of a trip to SA will be very tough to take. Why? Because I know this team has an unbelievable opportunity to play for a NC if they just play like they are capable. PLEASE play like BTT team.

I'm at a loss for words for how this opening weekend for the tournament has gone so far. Too many batshit crazy things that NOBODY would have believed four days ago.

I feel this tournament has had the most upsets in it that I can remember.

1 Xavier, 1 Virginia, 2 UNC, 2 Cincy, 3 Tennessee, 3 MSU, 4 Arizona, 4 Wichita St, 4 Auburn all don’t make it pst the first weekend

I am happy about this, but very uncomfortable talking about it.

Blueitt (among others) was terrible down the stretch missed shots and three turnovers down the stretch.
