The world wide leader strikes again

Anyone who listens to the Dan Patrick show understands how ESPN dictates the lives of all under contract. They deny all ESPN employees from the Dan Patrick radio program. And now they are banned from the Adam Carolla pod cast. Bill Simmons was on the other day and a topic of "jizz" came up and ESPN did not like it and banned from the pod cast.

But none of the ESPN competitors have been able to gain a foothold. When broadcast news got too powerful, CNN pops up. When CNN got too powerful, Fox News popped up. I would say that almost in a classic business sense, ESPN is a monopoly.

but they sure think they are. I really can't stand ESPN. If they weren't the only real place to go and watch games/highlights I would never tune in to any of their channels.

The Adam Carolla podcast is brilliant, and he and Simmons actually make an excellent team. If you can, try and find an older podcast with them where they discuss "Fast and Furious" or any of their movie ideas. No sports information per se, but really I doubt many of you read Simmons for anything other than entertainment, if at all.

This is terrible news! The podcasts that Simmons did on Carolla's site were definitely some of the funniest podcasts on the internet. Of course, it's not really surprising considering it is ESPN and I think Simmons even made a joke that he would get fired because of the last podcast.
