Word on Derrick Bryant or Darryl Baldwin?
Baldwin removed us from his top 5. Haven't heard much about Bryant. Baldwin is a no go, though.
Baldwin is almost certainly headed to Ohio State. I haven't heard anything about Bryant lately. He plans to wait until after his season to commit anywhere.
We could use Bryant as strongside DE, couldn't we? Especially if Jibreel Black is a DT. Unless, of course, Paskorz grows in to a SDE; but then the whole Holmes O thing doesn't make as much sense. Unless Antonia Kinnard is not a LB, but a Quick. In which case we have no LBs in the class.
So, in short, we could use Bryant as a strongside DE, couldn't we?
In my humble opinion, the whole Holmes O thing has more to do with waiting on Javarie Johnson than it does with who we already have committed. Or I guess, I should say it is a combination of waiting on Javarie Johnson and already having a few commits at Deathbacker.
I do think Paskorz could grow into a SDE, though.
