Actually they are fronting and sloughing off the top. The person with the slough defender needs to pass strong side and drive her defender out that area. Easier said than done against a team like usc.

UM holds USC to just one goal in the 4th quarter, but our offense can also only muster 1 goal.
Michigan falls 9-6 to #1 seed USC and will face the loser of UCLA/Stanford tomorrow for third place (USC has beaten both teams multiple times this season).
USC's big third quarter killed us, but great fight overall.
They have lost on average to USC by JUST under 3 points... 3, 3, 2 = 2.66 We lost by 3 points. Lets go get the Bronze ladies!!!!

We lost to UCLA 4-5 on Sunday for a fourth place NCAA finish. Great season ladies!
The PAC is pretty awesome in water polo. They finished wiht 4 of the top 5 positions with our Wolverines breaking up their party.
USC edged Stanford 8-7 in the Final to remain undefeated for their fifth national title.
