Women's Volleyball Has Some Fun in Seattle
The Women's Volleyball team created this video while on their trip to Seattle for the first round of the NCAA tournament. Pretty impressive work by all, but especially producer/director Courtney Fletcher (MB/Jr).
Only issue:
- Product placement (Pizza Hut vs. Domino's)
Enjoy.

That is the most insanely wholesome-looking group of young women I've seen in a while. And it's a cute video.
Thanks for posting

The one positive from the past few football seasons is the greater appreciation I have for other UM sports!
Go Blue!

Too bad their season ended, I'd have enjoyed more of these!

That was Great!
It is so easy to forget how many student athletes attend Michigan and participate in those "other" sports, working every bit as hard as the guys we focus our attention on in football, basketball, etc.
They truly deserve our support and respect.

It's a shame the volleyball team flies under the radar for so many on campus. I went to easily about 50 matches in undergrad, went to the entire tournament run in '07, and just had a blast. There's a really, really devoted fanbase, and I'd argue that Keen is just about the most exciting atmosphere on campus outside of Yost.
It's awesome seeing what Coach Rosen has done with this program. They're building something great here. Bummer it ended early this year.

I still haven't made it to one at Michigan yet, but during undergrad I went to a ton of games. If you've got a decent team and a good fanbase, you're right, they're a ton of fun. A little frustrated my alma mater won a D3 national championship the year after I left though, would have been a blast to follow them around the tournaments.

Awesome to see that they were having so much fun. Glad they were all able to capitalize on their college days while they still can. Enjoyed it

Does anyone else think the girl with the hat on at 2:01 kind of looks like Tate?

A little bit. And if you look closely you'll see Gerg's teddy bear in the hotel room.

Nice video; well done. It's a reminder of the Michigan Mock Rock event that should be coming up next semester at Hill Auditorium. Mock Rock has become a good way to benefit Mott's Children's Hospital and other UM-related charities, and it also has allowed UM's student-athletes to showcase some of their other talents.
For those who haven't seen them, here are links to the past past two performances of the Wolverines football team at Mock Rock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfYPotDwPMA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4_UyYXd678
Wondering whether this could lead to UM doing something similar to (and most likely better than) the Grand Valley State University LipDub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn5L3gsCHgQ

Those airport moving walkway layover shots look like they were in Denver International Airport. Pillars, garbage cans, walkways all look right.
Pro Tip: Don't fly through Denver in the winter.
December 5th, 2010 at 5:15 PM ^
that would make sense. yes, it looked a lot like DIA.
I would always need to fly thru there on my way home for the holidays (south dakota) and your wintry caution is spot-on.

I love this team. Very frustrating how inconsistent they were on the road this year, but overall it was a blast calling their matches. So much energy, look like they're just having a blast being together.
