Feel The Strength

I see lots of talk about UGA's record. Sometimes that doesn't mean a thing to recruits. After all, we'll never fully know what's going on in their minds. They're kids, and they may not even fully know how to make these tough decisions. Georgia is similar to Michigan in that they have a good coach that has had success at the coordinator level (ours as a HC) and is now coaching at his alma mater. This is a disappointment but our class will still be solid and we have one of the best coaching staffs in the country-which is more important to me than landing 5* recruits.

Some people really overreact to recruiting. Yeah it's great when you get an elite prospect but it's not the end of the world when you don't. I've been following recruiting long enough to know that these things happen and they happen every year. Michigan isn't exactly struggling for elite talent, we do get our fair share and we have Jim MF Harbaugh as our head coach. We're still going to finish top 5 at the end of the year in both actual football rankings AND recruiting. All is well with our program.

And it looks like it will be the reason we lose games in future seasons as well. Way too many missed with big time OL over the last 4 years. That will come back to bite us again

5*, 4*, six 3*s, and two unranked recruits have in common? They made up the AP All American 1st and 2nd Team's O-Line: 1st Team: 5* - 3* - 3* - 3* - Not Rated 2nd Team: 3* - 4* - 3* - Not Rated - 3 * I don't know if this is your first rodeo in the recruiting world, but calm down bud. We got Harbaugh. We're going to be alright.
