Will ESPN have an updated "prestige rankings" soon?

Submitted by Human Torpedo on

I know we all hate ESPN these days, but for those you are unaware of this, back in 2009, ESPN's Research Department had a very interesting project where they made a point scale system to try and determine the greatest football (and later basketball) programs of all-time

Unfortunately, our ranking even then was rather low (#8) since they only measured success had since 1936. I think since before the 2019 season it'll be a full decade since the last rankings it would be nice to them revised a bit. I am a bit worried though that Florida State, who was #9, may have passed us since then based on the scoring system

At least when we make the Final Four of one of the two major college sports, we don’t go scoreless.

OSU is 2-1 in CFP/ Final 4 in the last 5 years.

MSU is 0-2

Michigan is 2-2 with two title game appearances.

I am sick and tired of both of them. We will beat both of them on their home field this year. Screw LJ Scott, Lewerke, Mork, Urbz, Haskins, Dobbins, Weber, whoever. Let them know Harbaugh, Brown will step to any mofo whoever. Our name is our name!

We WILL win this year.

I love ESPN, actually. How can anyone hate them? No network covers and shows the amount if NCAA games that it does.

Some fisking

The last time they did this it wasn't 100% awful, but had some big flaws:
