We're still #1 all-time in wins and winning percentage.  This is just your standard Moses/desert situation.  (And if Moses had Denard's speed, he would have gotten through the desert a lot faster.)

God doesn't like people who think too much.  Our liberal ideas mock God's will and therefore he strikes us down.  How dare we educate ourselves!  GBL friendly? Pot happy? Religiously tolerant?  For these transgressions, he takes away that which is most dear to us.....football.

And it's pulled from the darkest recesses of my mind and I understand I deserve to be negged to high hell for even thinking it and of course I'm not thinkng clearly and very emotional right now...

But am I the only one to have a flash of Dantonio and the whole 'pride before the fall' thing and think that has something to do with anything?

Please people. Calm down.  Believe in our team.  The TEAM, The TEAM, the TEAM.

When written in Chinese the word "crisis" is composed of two characters - one represents danger and the other represents opportunity.  ~John F. Kennedy, address, 12 April 1959

My fault. I promised God that I wouldn't partake in this one activity until next Monday if he would help me out with something last Thursday. I made it until today at around 2:30 pm and broke said promise. When I asked for this I told him that if he could help me out of said jam then I wouldn't do this particular activity and if I did then he could smite me. Sounds made up but is 100% true. Or I could be in for something much much worse.

Like when people go to prison. Eventually God forgives them then they're released back into society. So I guess were in prison for beating the shit out of so many teams since the begining of our football program. Btw, I'm really, really high right now. On mushrooms (and weed).

I think Glen Phillips said it best in song.

From "Duck and Cover":

Firstly:

"Everybody here's got a story to tell
Everybody's been through their own hell
There's nothing too special about getting hurt
But getting over it, that takes the work"

and later:

"One way or another a man's gonna suffer
Makes no difference the way you wanted it
But friends and lovers, don't you duck and cover,
Cause everything comes out the way it should in the end."

and finally:

"One way or another, one way or another
You won't get what you wanted, but you'll get enough for sure.
One way or another, the winter pays for the summer
Won't get what you wanted, but what you got'll be good."

Let's just hope that hope is a strategy.

Maybe God wanted us to realize just how bad a football team can be and how fans of those football teams suffer after so many years of us fans enjoying the greatness of College Football.  Now he wants us to be on  the other side of the ball.  No pun intended.

Wow. I never knew how much I hated MSU fans until now.

I think they crazy thing is that when someone from an opposing team gets injured like this we usually say how much that sucks and how we never wish that on any player, well they take it to a new level.

Well we have missed a bowl game two years in a row, after watching the worst secondary I have ever seen in Michigan history last year we now enter this year without a proven cover and the best DB might be a guy who played WR last year (Cam Gordon)  I hate to be negative but this is the one guy we could not lose if we do not average over 30 a game forget 8 wins because this is going to be a BAD secondary.  God might not hate use be he is putting us through quite a test.
