Who was the secret recruit at the game today?

I know that Tim Jernigan was there, but who was Sam Webb's mystery recruit?

I don't know, but he must have been big time because he kept getting the ball kicked to him on kickoffs. I hope he commits because those really put our defense in a bind.

I'm curious how recruits at today's game would have perceived the atmosphere.  After Iowa went up 14-7, the place seemed to be dead quiet until the 4th.  Probably a terrible game to have recruits at.  Have you ever seen a crowd as depressed as this one down 14-7 in the mid-second quarter?

I was there and I think it's because everyone could feel the momentum shift in the game.  The past years have been so bad that I think everyone subconsciously checked out once they felt the momentum shift and saw the sheer amount of dumb mistakes being made.  It's frustrating as all get out, but when you have a fanbase that's as much of a kicked dog as ours is right now.................  Getting a good atmosphere just becomes tough.

I disagree about the crowd being dead until the fourth.  The nature of football games is they build to a crescendo with periods of excitement throughout.  The game wasn't very exciting in the middle, but the crowd remained engaged.  I'm sure the visitors were impressed with the atmosphere.  We may not have the loudest fans, but 113,000 has to impress just about any 18 year old.

Thought it was a great game to have recruits at, and we had a bunch. Sunny, perfect weather. Exciting game where the team kept fighting. Crowd was loud as hell in the 4th quarter
<br>Zettel was there, looked like he was having a ball. Recruits look like they're building some friendships and getting comfortable at M. They want to see wins so they don't have to worry about RR, but their reactions to losses always seem more level-headed than most of our fanbase
