Who else is in and where do think 2014 Class ends up?

We have already had the Peppers excitement and is there more? It's already pretty solid but will they get some more top prospects?

McDowell comes through in the end

Hand- gotta go with my gut...he comes here because of Mattison and academics

Scott- commits at the BBQ

Westphal- always been the leader, no idea when he will be ready to commit though

RB- Ballage or Hilliman or none

Would love an Adoree Jackson/JuJu Smith/Montae Nicholson but seems like a longshot so I think we finish with the above

I'll agree with those...however, I don't think we "know" the RB commit yet, I think it'll be a surprise or late offer. Same with OL. I don't think it's anyone on the board as of yet. Other than that, I think you hit it on the head. Hand, McDowell, Westphal, Scott and one of those 3 DBs + the RB and OL that I think will come from camp or a strong senior year.

Judging by your avatar and the fact you created this post at 2:25 AM, you are way too into potential choices made by 17 year old children. Let the chips fall as they may. We'll wake you up when the get on campus...in a year.

So what does that say about you? Stop the chastising on this board. Sparty has one for that sort of crap. What are you doing up? Stop being a dick if you havenothing to contribute. Sorry other posters. I rarely chime in because of dBags buy we generally have some great participants.

If anyone would like a somewhat handy reference for names, here is the list of Michigan's 2014 targets via 247Sports with commits included (that helps because needs stand out then, I think) - HERE

Among other things, I still think we take one more WR at least because we're going to lose a few to graduation, so Scott perhaps. We're well set up, I think, to get Hand and McDowell, and it seems like we would take one more CB, so either Jackson or Westphal could fill that position nicely really, but as someone sort of mentioned, it seems like Westphal has been the better bet. That would bring us to 16 commits - I don't know if this particular class gets much larger than that actually (maybe 1-3 more, accounting for potential attrition).

There are two likely candidates for the fifth year firm handshake in the 2014 graduating class.  I think we lose one more from the O-line and one out of the defensive backfield due concerns over playing time and/or injury.  Also Hagerup? So lets say 18.

12. Hand SDE

13. McDowell SDE

14. Westphal CB

15. Scott/Williams WR

16. Ballage?? RB

17. OL

18. Other

Somewhat Realistic Dream Class:

12: Hand, DE, VA
13: McDowell, DE/DT, MI
14: Westphal, CB, IL
15: Smith, S, CA
16: Scott, WR, FL
17: Jackson, CB, CA
18: OL who blows up after his senior year.

I think if Hand were to drop early enough for us it could cause other supers like JuJu Smith or Adoree' Jackson to give us a closer look. I mean, who wouldn't want to be a part of that class?

More Realistic Finish

12: McDowell, DE/DT, MI
13: Westphal, CB, IL
14: Holmes, WR, FL
15: Owens, LB, FL
16: Under the radar OL
17: Under the radar S
18: Ballage, ATH, CO

if the class stays at 15. We've had good hauls at that position, and our losses after this season are minimal. I think a third OL would be more likely and necessary. Hopefully we'll eventually get up to 18 or so, and be able to squeeze in a RB and another DL, if by some good chance both McDowell and Hand want to join.

Don't forget the possibility of someone earning camp offer and committing on the spot, just like Channing Stribling.  I could see our 3rd receiver or OL spot getting filled that way.
