Who's got the call?

Is it McDonough-Millen or Spears-James, I can't seem to find it on M Go Blue. In a related note, does Brad Nessler still call games for ESPN/ABC, can't recall hearing him this year.

I posted this on Monday, I think. I'd rather have McDonahough over Dave Pasch. While I admit that I'd like Griese/Spielman, Millen doesn't really bother me that much. I'll take the better play by play.

Announcers are like referees. When you have good ones, you never notice they were there. I don't have problems with decent to great announcers. When I have an announcer who is consistently getting names wrong, labeling plays wrong, overacting, or just continually says things that just make me want to make my face go into my palm (stupid puns being overused like Minor is "major", dumb catchphrases like "partner"), it distracts me from the game. One of my bigger issues is when moderating a CiL. I don't get to watch the game, instead I'm having to look over comments people are submitting. Most of what I get from the game is from the announcers. Summary: So yeah, great announcers you remember for being good. Good announcers you don't even notice. Bad announcers detract from the game through distraction.

i wish that lou would do a michigan game... between moosman, jason olesnavage, and martavious odoms, he'd have his hands full with those "suffering succotashes" [edit: last year it was nessler, griese, and clown mcguire at noon on espn on abc for the osu game. i know that this team has been disbanded]
