Who's going to The Match tomorrow...more importantly who's got a tailgate.

Submitted by scanner blue on

I'll be at gate 10 as usual but Im not that excited about this "match". Who's got a tailgate I can crash at about 1:45. I would probaly only imbibe in one drink and a light repast since I have to represent  U of M for the next five hours. Trusted bloggers XM, RobF, Seth and even my MGoBlinddate can vouch for me as a decent guy. I won't regale you with my stories of meeting Woodson, McElwain, Griffey Jr, Tomlin all within the last four months (maybe I'll talk about  my favorite Bens (Bredeson, Mason, and Herbert)).

Looking forward to seeing all the bros who spent 2 weeks at the London School of Economics wearing their jerseys and scarves and saying "Liverpool ARE really playing well".

I also need a tailgate...maybe we should all just start one.  Really throws you off with a game at the Big House that's so different that all your usual hookups don't exist.

Very sad to hear from UM that I can't bring Vuvuzelas and any other artificial noisemakers
Fireworks and flares. Normal parking and tailgating at State and Granger starting around 2:30.

Will be in attendance. Also looking for a tailgate to crash. Will come armed with beer! It'll be odd to be in the Big House and hearing YNWA and GGMU chants instead of the Victors.

Just call it a game.  Why do Americans feel the need to change what they call things for soccer?  I grew up playing and watching soccer and we always called it a game.

UM sports economist debunks " soccer" versus "football" myth.

I won't be there for tailgating or tomorrow's game, but you're certainly welcome to stop by our tailgate (usually @ AAGO) on Football Saturdays, SB.
