Which players that are not currently receiving any hype that you are most excited to see?

For me on offense I am most excited to see the progression of Ty Isacc, If he has improved on his spring performance I think he can over take Smith and may be our next 1000 yd back!

On defense I have to go with Dymonte Thomas, he brings more athleticism and speed to the free safety position than we had last year, and if he is able to be as dependable as J. Wilson was last year, he could be all conference!

Two guys:

Hudson. Considering he's supposed to be Peppers' heir apparent, I'm hoping to see some real signs of potential from him this Fall. And then:

Walker. I'm hoping he's the game changer at the position that we so desperately need. We haven't had a home run threat at the position since Hart left. And Denard does not count.

Let me rephrase: we haven't had a truly great back since Hart left. Touissant had one good year, but other than that, it's been a whole lot of nothing since Hart left.

De'Veon looks like he could be something special this year, and he was tough to bring down last year, but he's not the home run threat.

The first year, Touissant had a great stutter step that made defensive backs miss tackles. The next year that was either coached out of him or he was used as a power back rather than a shifty back. In the NFL he seems to be back to his early form. When they started running him into the middle of the line to kill the clock in the Penn State game, I knew we would lose - and we did. What I love about the current coaches is that not only do they recruit to fit their offensive philosopy; they adapt the offense to fit the strengths of the players they have.

I am really looking forward to seeing Wheatly run over corner backs for yards after reception.

and Kekoa Crawford and Nate Johnson on offense.  Even if they don't play this year, have a hunch they will do great things at Michigan.   All have speed and athleticism.

Dymonte Thomas, last year he was one of those players that is always around the ball when he was in , good tackler and I like his game overall. Had a few bounces go against him last year, but I bet he'll be a standout this year on the back end

I'd say one of the O line not mentioned too much, like Kyle Kalis or Ben Braden.

I think if these guys put it together this year the O line can be very good.

Prob a good list, but I have no idea what you're saying. I'm assuming trying to be cool or cute, but honestly I feel bad for you that you took the time to think of how to sound cool and only made yourself look like a moron.

On offense im looking for khalid hill. Havent heard any hype this year, but with a first year qb and 2 minds like harbaugh and fisch, i see that h back role being big if hill has put in the work. We can debate te vs fb all day, but i really dont see hills role changing. And hes as talented as it gets in a role our coaches love. On d its bryan mone. The hype was crazy last year. But theres not much so far this year. Has a great position coach. And all the talent in the world to work with.

potential to be playmakers at each level: Issac - he has great speed and size combo, and his yds/carry is not a fluke; hope he shows fire to attack holes and tacklers. McDoom - he has real acceleration and top end speed with elusiveness. Gentry - guy is 6'8" with legit speed; JH will find plays and moments to get him open down the seam for big yards. Bredeson - just think he is too sound and understands the game better than at least 2 OL starters. Gedeon - guy is 248 lbs with solid speed; if he just settles in and tackles well ... Long - he has pure speed (100m HS time faster than Chesson & JP which means he is fast like them) and he has A+ moxie.

Gedeon, in light of getting his redshirt burned in the late 2013, looked AMAZING for a freshman in the last few games of 2013.

I assumed he would have a huge breakout for us after that.

But after not being in the starting 3 in 2014, and the multi-look defense we had in 2015, I'm REALLY hoping he can have an all-star Senior-year, like so many other great Michigan players and really help put this team over the top.

That and Bryan Mone. I'm sure the kid is absolutely hungry to see the field and be part of that monstrous defensive line.

Godin

I feel like everyone has forgotten about him (not even listed in everyone's DL 2 deep, even Brian has left him off) despite the fact that he is a solid player and would be starting for most teams. He's going to allow us to rotate Gary, Wormley, Charlton, and Hurst in a way we wouldn't be able to if we did not have him.

I've had people try to make jokes with me about how the punter doesn't know how to catch and I'm always like, well he actually was a very valuable asset to the team last year. He had one bad play. Shit happens I guess. Pretty sure Harbaugh learned a lot from that play and I'm sure everybody will be more prepared if that situation ever comes up. That was a very unique ending to a game. I'm At the same time, one play never decides a game.

Please don't use "that" so many times my eyes are bleeding. Dymonte could be awesome! We haven't seen McCray so also hoping he's really good. On O it feels like everyone except for Higdon is getting hyped. Interested to see where it's real.

Not sure why he hasn't been mentioned, but I'm at least A LITTLE excited to see Rashan Gary play a few snaps. Could be interesting.
