When does the 2017 season preview begin?

Submitted by uniqenam on August 28th, 2017 at 9:40 AM

I calculated it this morning, and the average time that the season preview has dropped (from 2012-2016) was:

11:10 AM EDT

Only 1.5 hours, exactly, if you were wondering how much longer until CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT

you know how you feel overwhelmingly stuffed after eating your Thanksgiving meal, but it tastes so good you can't stop eating? That's how my eyes and brain feel during preview week.

A couple years ago I made a post before I went to bed asking why the season preview hadn't started even though it was Tuesday and there was a game that Saturday. Woke up the next day to find out the first game wasn't the coming weekend but was still another week after that :(

They might finish the "Enemy Ranked" previews first, with LBs, DBs, and Special Teams still to go. May have to wait until tomorrow or maybe they'll overlap.

EDIT: And the DL "Enemy Ranked" says the preview will begin this afternoon.

You guys do have to do research for the season, no matter what. That's not dependent on draftgeddon. That's just your preferred method of prep.

And I assume the actual draft was done a while ago, so you could have pulled the publish dates on everything up sooner. If not, pull the draft forward next year.

Just some thoughts from a random internet guy, what do I know

I had a dream that I was a crucial WR for Michigan, catching ropes from Speight on out-routes and curls after out-routes and curls and then over the middle. The game wasn't over when I woke, but we were controlling Florida easily.

11:10 AM is roughly 20 minutes from the time of this particular reply - I am just not ready for that level of content. I suppose I will just have to wing it and ride it out somehow.

I mean, I've managed in six years (plus two as a lurker) here. No reason this should be radically different, right? RIGHT?
