What are your plans for Saturday?

Submitted by BeatOSU52 on

Obviously there is a good chunk of you guys going to the game, but either way, lets hear what you plan to do all day Saturday and where you plan to watch the game. Going to college gameday? Bar for the game? Watch-party? ....

And harvesting the corn from the north field.  BUT, actually had satellite installed on Monday (we live in the boonies and don't normally have tv), and will have an adult beverage along with wife and most of the children on couch to watch Michigan v. bama by the end of the day.

I bought a 60 incher that I mounted on my living room wall that hasn't experienced a Michigan game yet.  I'll be having family and neighbors over to break it in.

Great first line. I don't know if you mean it as such, but am I in the minority in thinking that having/enjoying a beer while in the shower is one of life's delicious pleasures!?

Need something to calm me down. Will get occupied with beginning the BBQ at 7 am and smoking a nice pork shoulder for about 10-12 hrs. Popping open an Oberon to say goodbye to summer and hello Big Ten Ttile!

Moving into a new apartment in A2 tomorrow morning; throwing all of my crap into my room; running errands and doing laundry; leaving from Metro with my Dad en route to Dallas at 7pm; arrive in Dallas around 11pm; party with the Alumni Club in Dallas, watch us beat Alabama in person.  Go Blue!

Watching the clock until it's time to go to Brother Jimmy's and pee my pants out of unparalleled excitement.

Is it just me or has this been the longest week in extended memory?

Working tonight 3 am tomorrow morning then heading to Disneyland 8 am where I'll probably be until the park shuts down.

It's going to be a long drive home Friday night. Thank god this is a night game. I'll be spending most of the day Saturday recovering then the rest of the night sipping something tasty while watching our strapping young lads from AA shock the college football world.

Will be at the in-laws in Naples for the holiday weekend. Already told them that as of 7pm Saturday, I'm off limits for anything other than making a drink. Beach is 2 blocks away, so I'm planning to celebrate late night in the Gulf. Go Blue!

Unfortunately, I have some of those tasks you have to do when you own a home and some errands to run first. One good errand is the beer run to Binny's to select some fine brews for the game. Spending the evening with fellow alumni watching the game at their house for the big Meeechigan victory. They are taking care of the food, so the wife and I just need to contribute beer. Post game drinks and euchre to cap the evening.

Heading to the pool early and setting up the Michigan Canopy.  Playing cornhole, grilling, and enjoying the last few Oberons of the season.  At 5:00, we'll head to downtown Orlando to start    pregaming with some friends.  Then it's time to watch the boys beat Bama.  We'll be the assholes banging the cowbell after every Michigan touchdown.

The rhythm is all so alien. Been so long since the opener wasn't at home. Then it's not even early, so you have to wait all day. And I'm not wow'd with confidence, so it's tempered. A noon start at the Big House vs. Baby Seal U it ain't.

Driving like demons are pursuing us so we can get home in time for kickoff. We have a vacation house in NY through Sunday but the TV is inadequate and there are no sports bars convenient. So home we go. Sorry to miss all the pre-game fun though

Its labor day weekend which means my firefighter brothers and I will be out filling the boot. Luckily Michigan plays at 8 so for once I won't miss the first game while at work. We wrap up the weekend collecting at 5, so back to the station grab a shower and settle in before kickoff! I live in SEC country so while a win would be tremendous. I am praying for a good showing even in a loss. Go Blue!

Waking up at no specified time. Leaving hotel. Arriving at stadium 3 or so hours early. Staring at Jerry's big screen for three and a half hours waiting for a Michigan win.

Is there going to be an MGoUser meet up.  I know quite a bit will be down here just can't remeber if there was any specific spot everyone was trying to meet up.  My plan right now is to just go to Sherlocks until gametime but it would be nice to meet some you considering I only get out of Oklahoma a few times a year and do not catch many games with other U of M fans.

At work now and will be home around 730. Catch a nap then load up and drive up to Dallas. I have no idea where we're partying Friday night but we'll be roaming the tailgate in lot 11 on Saturday. Agreed this has been one long week!
