This week in schadenfreude Crowley Sullivan has a meltdown on twitter

Submitted by Diagonal Blue on November 12th, 2018 at 7:32 PM

You may remember this was the guy at B1G media day who was drilling Harbaugh about not beating his rivals and living up to the hype. He writes for a little publication called Spartanwire.

Well, seems he didn't have a good weekend. Enjoy.

If Lewerke fumbles or snap miscues or missed INT was a drinking game I’d be blacked out early in the 2nd quarter of this game. What is that like his 6th? https://t.co/rSbveQNrbo

FWIW the Maryland Regents insisted Lewerke start today.

MSU coaching staff reminds me of parents who expect the overachieving child to be perfect every single day. Yet enables and supports the kid still living at home who plays video games all day and is unemployed. #DefenseVsOffenseProblems

CoachD hates scoring points.

— SpartanWire (@SpartanWire) November 10, 2018

I’ve never been a ‘fire Dave Warner’ guy but if CoachD doesn’t completely fire everyone and reinvent our Offensive philosophy I’m not watching MSU football. I’m taking my Saturdays back. https://t.co/JBJ8TNhfPk

Why in God’s name would I come to MSU if I’m a top defensive recruit??? MSU would squander my hard work on the other side of the ball. https://t.co/Twg7Lk8YUy

I’m out, folks. Enjoy the shitshow that’s the rest of this football season. See you in March. ✌? https://t.co/3oEVWLDE0c

Is he speaking from experience here?

Probably bad video games, too.  Like, instead of Madden football, he was the one kid playing Sports Talk Football.

The neighborhood kids would come over because Crowley’s parents bought him a Sega Genesis.  But then it was like, “Come on, guys.  Let’s play some Sports Talk Football.”

When you talk zone

I turn to stone

Turn to stone

When my math is blown

I can't go home

Turn to zone

When I self-own

I turn to stone"

His site is affiliated with USA Today's attempt at a CFB network - though I am not sure for how much longer based on above.

I wonder how Isiah Hole from Wolverines Wire feels with a Dickwad like this guy as his "peer" on a (little) brother site......

Post MSU game I went over to the site -  it doesn't allow comments unfortunately.   If you ever wanted to see the perfect example of "little brother" all you needed to do was read his articles leading up to the game..

Yeah, after seeing your comment I went over there and skimmed through some articles myself. My god, what a horror show.

Right now the top article is some bizarre piece in which he calls Chase Winovich “Foghorn Leghorn” and argues that Kenny Willekes is a better player because apparently football is the only thing Willekes does, whereas Winovich does some other things too.

Literally every article on the site was authored by Sullivan, yet each article dutifully includes a byline for him.  Does this imply that the site is supposed to have other contributors and, for some reason, does not?  Or is it just unnecessary text that signals something negative about Sullivan’s self-esteem?

There seems to be a plurality of articles bashing Michigan, whom he refers to as “UMAA.”  Nobody uses “UMAA.”  Except Sullivan, I guess.

Overall, it has basically the flavor you would expect if a typical RCMB poster had his own Spartans blog.  There is no objectivity, no real analysis, no respect for the players or coaches or the game itself.  It’s like if Damefan1 got a hold of a keyboard.  And cheered for State.

Well he wasn't too upset to write this travesty of an article today:

Did you know he went to University of Chicago? He mentions every time someone mentions MSU's academics, dude is a total tool. He also tried to get a guy fired for making fun of MSU academics as well and then blocked me when I gave him too much shit.

I can't read any more.  He kisses Meyer's ass for being "respectful" and then actually boasts about Dantonio's losing record against Meyer, because no other program has come as close to challenging the Buckeyes in that time span.  I mean, he has a point, sort of.  It's just weird.  There's a long string of very thinly veiled attacks on Michigan without ever directly owning up to it.  Very littlebro.  They're not ever going to be able to let go of that underdog mentality.

At least he dresses like he understands the food chain.  Ghey ass St. Pattys day green shirt covered up by a GO BLUE jacket.  Harbs would beat that dude in any contest.  Including beat that dude.

If the football God's have a sense of humor, they will throw a decade plus of miserable football upon MSU to remind the school who they really are.

I don't know who is worse this guy or Jim Comparoni.  Comparoni was cheering for Devin Gardner to get hurt a few years back and saying how awful Devin Bush was when he was tearing up the field at Spartan Stadium.  These MSU media guys are a bunch of hacks.  More evidence to the claim that journalism is dead.

For those who don't know who this Crowley Sullivan of Spartanwire guy is, the leading questions he asked of Jim Harbaugh:

You are correct sir.

  • The spartans are a pile of hot garbage.
  • A smoldering tire fire filling the atmosphere full of toxicity.
  • A steaming pile of warm dog poop.
  • A dumpster of a restaurant in the summer filled with decomposing food after they dump the old deep fryer grease on it.
  • The smell of a giant chicken farm.
  • A fresh pile of deer guts in the woods after it has been gutted in deer season.
