Wednesday night what are you drinking/doing?

The holidays are officially over. Most of us are suddenly hit with a jolt of the real world. Or maybe we just need to unwind from the drunken craziness of Christmas. I know I'm not the only one.

Just opened a new bottle of Laphroaig. AFTER the family has left town, of course (so I don't have to share).

Just an ice cold domestic.  Satisfying.

Cheers to all!

Forgot to add... definitely going through some football withdrawals. Seems for the last couple weeks there would be some bowl game on, even if it was the Southeastern Oklahoma Technical institute vs Georgia Dental School of Atlanta.  At least it was football.

Looking forward to UM vs Penn St tomorrow.

Go Blue!

Milkshake made with Breyer’s fudge swirl ice cream, protein nut milk, Greek yogurt, and some fiber powder. Jaw is banded shut. Watching The Office.

The kids talked this old man into playing Fortnite. I’m horrible at it, but I can see the appeal for those whose brain synapses are still full go. A cold, watered down domestic for me.

Doing: off to the gym after work lets out in a few hours.  Not a resolution, just normal routine.

Drinking: at the moment, iced tea.  When I get home, probably just water since I'm trying to dial it back a little post-holiday, but we'll see how long that lasts.

I'm 4 weeks in after going back from over a year away. Getting sick and damn tired of gaining weight though.

I did this because my diet plateaued and I want to keep the weight loss going, but if I'm going to spend money to feel like shit and hurt in every joint, just to keep gaining weight, wtf am I doing???

Working my lame job as an IP attorney, catching up on all the stuff I didn't do last week lol. Anyone know how to get rich quick as an IP attorney? I'd like to retire.
