WBB Bracketology & NCAA Tournament hopes

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Amazingly, Michigan's loss to lowly Illinois on Saturday only knocked them down one spot in the most recent bracketology by ESPN's Charlie Creme.

They are no slotted as the second to last team out behind NC State. Assuming teams in front of them lose, this is their opportunity.

Here is the 2015 B1G Tournament bracket that was officially released yesterday upon the completion of the regular season:

8 Michigan will play 9 state on Thursday at 12:30 on BTN. If they win that game, they could very well make the NCAA Tournament.

If they do win that game, just pencil in the L for the Quarterfinals game against Maryland. Maryland went 18-0 in the B1G this year. Curiously, one of their two losses on the season was to Washington State, a team that Michigan beat.

hopefully a win against state is enough. looking at marylands schedule, they literally had like 2 or 3 games in conference that were even remotely close, and they weren't against us

the men's team will also likely be in the 8-9 matchup in the B1G Tourney, also playing in an important game for the team's postseason chances. also if both win, they'll both likely get crushed by the 1 seed who dominated the conference in the regular season.
