Watching Games in DC?
This is for all the DC-area M fans.
During the 2007 season I frequented The Pour House to watch the games I couldn't get back to Ann Arbor for. Went a few times last year and it was nearly empty. That compared with the great-size crowds of the year before.
I know the Michigan Alumni groups out here have listed a bunch of places as Michigan bars, like Mister Days (no), and Buffalo Billiards.
Maybe it was just because the season was, well, notsogood that people didn't want to watch with other fans. I am just wondering if more people started going somewhere else, where is it?

Have you been there before, it is a pretty cool spot. Alumni Association had a kick off the season evern there a couple weeks ago, it was cool. Plus who doesn't love a FREE TSHIRT!!!!

the other post it pretty much confirmed what I was thinking, that The Pour House slipped and has become kind of a second choice.
What I DID like about The Pour House was that the Michigan State bar was two doors down. In 2007, I and some others enjoyed screaming "Make Plays!!!!" down the street while drunk on $5(sweet!) Bud Lights.

Great turnout there. Big TVs. If either criterion is important to you, your choice is easy.

turnout was really what I was looking for. Better to watch with other fans. Thanks.

Nothing better than $1 bud heavys at the Pour House after a day working on the hill. Many good times were had there.
