I stopped drinking my Newcastle once I realized it has been 30 years since we last were shut out and had no business getting shut out this game. I wanted this one to hurt and man it does without the alcohol.

I'm having a crisis of fandom right now that I'm sober-ish.

#1 We look like shit when it seemed like there was soooo much to be hopeful about.

#2 The Big Ten looks like it has no fucking chance of getting a team in the playoff, which basically makes winning the B1G fucking meaningless this year. Can't hope for that even as much of a pie in the sky dream that seems for this team right now

#3 We have no hope of beating Michigan State on the road. No hope. Maybe Ohio State? But probably not.

#4 We lost our 30 year non shutout record which in horrible blowout losses in the last five years has been the one thing I could take some solace in after losing our fucking 40 year non losing seasons streak.

What do I cheer for anymore in the terrible or disappointing seasons? Yay! We won 7 games!.....
