That was the perfect day

That was the perfect day. We started early with tailgating on the golf course. This time to mix it up we went with the newly opened 14 and 15. We got to choose our spot and we backed up into the tree area and were very happy. The weather was as nice as it could be. A group was selling small Michigan hot air balloons. The more pints and shots we had, the cooler their launches were. We now own several. East Lansing launches for the game there? Maybe. The weather for the game was better than perfect. The game itself has been talked about many times on this board, let's just say it was great football with a huge win for Michigan, Tate, and RichRod. After the game the town was so alive and happy. Just one huge party of happy times. The students were partying as hard as I ever remember. They must have gone through a weeks worth of production of red cups. The new dorm looks like it will be awesome. The campus is better looking than ever. Even the law school is covering over that dumb siding on the research stacks. This morning, after we recovered in our hotel room, we stopped for breakfast where my wife and I used to eat Sunday mornings years ago when we lived in Northwood. The food was even better than it was back then. This was Michigan football the way it should be talked about for years. Great people watching great football and having a great time.

And, Sparty invents a new way to lose: "Oh, you missed the game-winning FG with three seconds left? No problem, we'll jump off-side so you can try again from 5 yards closer."
Michigan snatches victory from ND clutches.
Ohio State loses in closing moments; a thousand couches live to see another week.

I am STILL smiling about what a great football day yesterday was!!! Plus OSU didn't get blown out like they normally would so that "kinda" helps the BigTen right??? lol

somewhat helps the Big Ten, yes. However, Michigan winning against the perceived national power helps the conference immensely as it means Michigan may be on the way to be being back. Besides, I prefer to look at the Buckeyes' loss last night as their third absolutely heart-breaking close loss with Terrelle Pryor pulling the strings. At some point Pryor may get a rep as not coming through in big games (Wisconsin 2008 doesn't count). I will enjoy that if it comes true.

If I would have gotten some booty, then that would be the perfect day. It was still a 99 out of 100 on the perfect scale.

YOU'RE REALLY F*UCKING ON! Girlfriend forced me out of bed this morning, went to go get breakfast, headed over to my buddy's house to help with after-party clean up, picked up my car, just got home and I realized something: I'm still a bit drunk. Oh celebratory Jack Daniel's... WHY MUST YOU TASTE SO SWEET!? Ok... need to go back to bed now. Just felt like I needed to post something on the greatest website on the interwebs.

My throat's still a little sore from the yelling yesterday. At the end of the game, my voice was horse, my hands were red and shaky, and my sides hurt. I've never screamed and yelled so hard in my life. The stadium was amazing after Matthews caught that winning pass, so loud and energized. The after game beers never tasted better than last night. Best game I've seen at the Big House, bar none.
