Was Countess who Webb had his gut feeling about? Lyons next?

Submitted by BKFinest on

Or could we be so fortunate as to it referring to a Mr. Frost or Mr. Lyons?

FWIW, Beaver thinks we're a lock to get Lyons, regardless of who our coach is.

TomVH - anything to corroborate that?

I hope he's right about Lyons and not so much about Harbaugh.

Good job with nailing the call earlier btw.

Lyons, Countess, Dallas and Delonte are a nice haul to put together with Cullen, Avery and Talbott.

The thing is, saying Harbaugh is a "lock" or "done deal" to Michigan is like the coolest thing to say right now if you're a sports writer.  I would do the same thing too, because if you're right you can say you knew all along and sound like you knew what was happening, and if you're wrong no one will care because everyone else was saying the same thing.

...locks can be broken. I am more convinced than ever that Brandon won't make a change until after 2011, if it's even necessary. I think DB will, in the end, echo what Brandstatter has been saying: Give RR the chance to fix what's broken. He improved the offense, now let him address the defense.

This is one thing I will never understand. From the free, confidential services offered by teams, to the absurd amount of money professional athletes make (even those riding the pine) versus hiring a limo/cab/van service....

...So confusing to me.

It's just not about that, wealthy non-athletes are the same way.  What good does it do you to drop a hundred-plus grand on car if no one sees you driving it, or you can't take your buddies or your ladies around in it.  People with nice cars like to show up places in those nice cars and they like to be seen leaving in those cars.

Just about any guy can get a limo to take him home from the club.  Not just anyone can climb into their own Bentley or G-wagon or tricked out Range Rover that the valet pulls up for them outside of the club.

I would have to ventue a guess and say yes, as he said he hoped to have more info today on gobluewolverine.com...which leads me to believe he knew something was happening today or very soon.  Unless lyons or frost commits in the next few days, it seems like Countess was who he was referring to.

Considering that he said it was a def player and it was to be today... Something tells me that yes he was referring to Countess today... But I would take a gut feeling on those 2 guys as well maybe a gut feeling on zettel, valdez showers, and a sammy watkins and HA-HA decommit too?

with all that has been going on this year and uncertainty about his future this recruiting class is shaping up to be very solid & rounded.  Keep it up RR and bring us a Bowl victory !!!

Beaver is Scout's Michigan Moderator at GoBlueWolverine.com.  I haven't subscribed in years, but he's famous for couching everything in riddles and obscure percentages so that even if he is wrong about something, he is still right.  He stirs up excitement which leads to more subscribers for them.  He also looks like Kenny Rogers, of Kenny Rogers Roasters fame.  Not to be confused with Kenny Rogers of the 2006 American League Champions fame.

It would seem Sam was talking possibly about Frost. Scout freeboards have mentioned things along those lines. Saying another commitment coming soon and it looks like Frost. Or maybe Richardson.

Kris Frost would be a great pick-up no doubt about it.  Especially if we can convince him to play LB.  He's another kid who could get a 5th star after the all-star games.  He's apparently tearing up the Shrine Bowl practices.
