So obvious some sort of hack is going on. Our poll has over one million votes it looks like the other has.... 85,000. I think more than 8.5% of people would vote in both

There are so many votes in at this point that having people go and vote will do nothing. The only hope of winning is by scripting bots and at that point what does it even matter.

They have a 145,000 vote lead over us and the gains made today have levelled out to a consistant pace of voting keeping their lead at 10%. Given ESPNs history of not caring if 17 billion people vote on a helmet poll I don't think they'll be investigating the source of Nebraskas votes.

As soon as we bring it close NU will bot their way to a bigger lead. Not only do we need to bot to make up the hundreds of thousands, we then need to bot more to beat their additional bot.

For a little bit (I'm using quotes because I'm still guessing we had a few bots going from the start).  But they took a huge (about 100,000-200,000 votes) lead over us using bots (either that or people in Nebraska might have nothing better to do, which IMHO is a reasonable explanation), and we've been clawing our way back in the last day.

I hate Nebraska fans, not to put them all down but they always bring up '97 and the Heisman and they just seem really cocky. When we went to the Alamo Bowl a couple years ago, my family moved because there were a group of Huskers behind us twho were just completely obnoxious and I just never have met a Nebraska fan I liked. Maybe it's just me...

I don't have a beef with Nebraska fans, but I still have always hated "Big Red." I have two issues with Nebraska:

1) They built their rep as a national power while in the Big 8 which consisted of Nebraska, Oklahoma and 6 "other" teams. It's pretty easy to pile up double digit winning seasons when you only play 2 or 3 good teams each year.

2) Dr. Tom Osborne is a Tressel-esque phony. His teams were rampant abusers of steroids and other PED's during his tenure not to mention the MSU-like rap sheet many of his later teams racked up, yet he is treated like one of the courtly, old-school gentlemen of CFB. He isn't fit to hold Lloyd Carr's jock strap when it comes to class.

To think I was voting mutliple times.  I thought I was so sneaky.  Haha, look at me vote 10 times in a row.  Michigan will for sure win this.  Nebraska won't know what hit them....  :(

At this rate, the vote total will match the entire population of the state of Nebraska (1.8 million). But I'm glad to see we're clawing back against them. I'd like to think our top-10 engineering program can match nebraska's engineering school. Go Blue!

I can definitively say that I am responsible for us catching up in the poll.  I graduate from UM in 2010 and now am at Caltech.  My roommate and I created the automated voting script. We started at midnight last night and we should overtake Nebraska by the morning. If anyone else wants it I can email it to you.  The more computers we can run it on the better.  You'll need Ubuntu.

if you want to get ubuntu you can download and install it as a second operating system.  Google Ubuntu for windows.  The first link should be ubuntu and then you can download it.  However, to manipulate Ubuntu once you download will take a bit of computer skill if you're used to windows.
