Very OT - Need help with Michigan football-related name for new kitten

Submitted by All_In_For_Michigan on July 19th, 2010 at 11:26 AM

Whether or not this is disrespectful is debatable, but my girlfriend and I are getting a second kitten and want to name it after something related to Michigan football.  So far we've thought of Schem, Victor, and Desmond.  Any suggestions you have, or comments if you think we're crazy, are much appreciated.

Ha!  Those are great, now I want to use them for my new kitten.  At the moment, I'm calling her MGoKitty.  But its moreso because she's a tabby with a big block M on her forehead.

What a great conversation piece:

House Guest:  "Oh, cute Cat... what's his name"

All_in_for_Michigan:  "Deathbacker"

House Guest:  "Deathbacker, why?"

All_in_for_Michigan:  "Glad you asked.  See, in U of M's defensive scheme, GERG runs a 3-3-5 that incorporates a hybrid DE/OLB that ................................................"

House Guest:  "I'm afraid to ask what your dog's name is."

All_in_for_Michigan:  "Well, since you brought it up...his name is Spur.  See, in U of M's defensive scheme, the aforementioned 3-3-5, the safeties line up.................................."

This is hilarious, because my girlfriend graduated from Walled Lake Western high school with Triple O.

Unfortunately, we haven't decided what to name him yet after picking him up this afternoon.  There are many great suggestions on this page to look through, I'm sure we'll find one!  Zoltan Meowsko is currently the front runner.  Who wouldn't want their cat to be Assistant (to the) Space Emperor?
