If OSU picks up Newsome, then I'd think Devin Gardner would be ours. No way OSU will take a QB in 3 consecutive years. Based on what I've read here and there, it seems Gardner is a bit more polished that Newsome. So yeah, let OSU take Newsome as Gardner would be a fantastic pickup for us.

they don't seem to want gardner. they've already offered a 2011 kid and told him he'll be the starter after pryor leaves.

sorry to ask this, and i don't wanna sound rude, but who are you? I don't recognize the name, but I'm really enjoying having a recruiting interviewer on this site and someone who is knowledgeable about the recruiting scene. Recruiting is actually my favorite aspect of college football. I think that's what draws me to the college game over the pro version. Anyways, I was just curious as to who you were. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks, I hadn't heard about him officially getting an offer. Just be careful with those sites, sometimes they like to jump the gun.
As long as you're on there though, take a look at Christian Green. I'm keeping my eye on him. He's fast, and has a lot of offers already. I'm just trying to find some more video to look at his throwing motion. I can't really see it from other videos I've seen.

I think it is evident that he was never truly a Michigan Man.
My guess is that he ends up at VaTech, Tyrod Taylor hasn't looked impressive and Newsome would probably be able to break into the starting lineup easily.

virginia tech generally does well in the tidewater area of the state. i think they'll pull newsome in. though psu being 9-1 certainly makes things a little more interesting

YAWN, wake me in February when it all means something. Until then, I cant get all worked up over what a 17-18 year old kid is doing. Let them take their visits, enjoy themselves, and we should wait until they are signed, sealed and delivered before we get all excited or suicidal
