USA Today Sports: Chip Kelly Not Taking Florida Job

Submitted by HelloHeisman91 on

It's starting to look like he will end up at UCLA if he decides to return to coaching.

Confirmed: Florida’s out for Chip Kelly, potentially clearing the way for UCLA—but nothing’s certain.
(UCLA’s Under Armour affiliation remains a real issue because of Kelly's relationship w/ Phil Knight.)https://t.co/IgiuYZTQQD

Bret wishes he stayed in Madison. I mean, I have to Credit him for trying something different, but seems like he had it made in Madison.

I don't think Frost is that good a fit for UF.  That history is pass-heavy, something which Frost is decidedly not.  His triple option offense would be as big a difference to UF as Rich Rod's spread was to Michigan.  I do think they would welcome him better than RR was welcomed here, but that only lasts for so long.  I don't think UF has the personnel to be threatening in the SEC running a triple option, and probably won't for 3 years.  Would he get that leash?  Maybe...

I think Gruden's good where he's at. He's got his Superbowl ring. Why go through all the traveling with recruiting when you can just relax and work 2 or 3 days a week and bring in solid money?

Chip Kelley w be at UCLA or Arizona St. come next season.

Both schools are sleeping Giants these days w the threat of Kelley being in So Cal to recruit! Hell USC should fire HELTON tomorrow and go get Kelley as everyone knows that his first choice is and always has been USC! But he loves Southern California so SC better look out if he lands at UCLA! Same goes if he lands at ASU! There campus and facilities are 2nd to none and the team is young and on a upswing.
