He did the exact same thing at Florida.  He left because of medical reasons and signed with ESPN within several months.  Wow!  He heals fast.  What a joke.

His health situation is indeed interesting.  Everyone sees through the smokescreen, whether or not people support him has more to do with OSU fandom than anything.  Oh and have I not mentioned before that OSU is SEC North?  No problem for him to get a gig on ESPN.

We ALL get it. I dont know why some of us fight with our emotions on this topic. This timeline is still per the course we thought would be set even before the season started. We all know too well that before the season ends for the the Fall of '19, he will be signing a deal somewhere.

Having listen to him during his last "retirement".  He is NOT good as an analyst.  Honestly, Harbaugh wouldn't be good either. Both guys are not exactly made for T.V personalities.

The LA times guy was right.

This doesn't pass the smell test.  This is a bizarre exit to say the least.

I'm expecting some stories to come out in the future.

Be fair. Life as a television personality on Fox has to be a thousand time less stressful than trying to keep Zach Smith out of jail for a living.

Double dealing [delete by self] f-ing biggest dirt bag in the history of all-time pathetical liars.

How can anyone hire this guy for anything other than the ganitor position in a prison ... or the assistant AD position at OSU ?

he is staying in spotlight, and will take another job in a year or two, notably in warm weather...maybe USC... FSU.... LSU, Bama, etc

I called it, I knew we were going to see his chinless ferret face on tv this fall or next. The  networks love upstanding individuals like Craig James, Lou Holtz, Terry Bowdon and one day Nick the Dick Saban. They would have Mork if anyone knew who the hell he was.

I don’t care what he does as long as he isn’t the OSU head coach.  We have a fighting chance to win now.  Hopefully our long national nightmare will be over this fall.

Bring back Keith Jackson and Bob Griese!  I cannot think of others who are better spokespeople for college sports.  (Too bad they want to be retired)

Am I the only person on here who doesn't care what he does? I know people won't care much for this but my cousin has the exact same thing he has and it's pretty painful. Secondly how would commentating on sports add stress? My cousin was VP of a company and was asked to do two VP's jobs and damned near died from the stress, he took so much advil his damn kidneys failed and was in the hospital for two months. He ultimately got let go a month after getting back to work because he was "set up" by the new management to fail..anyway when he lost his job within a few weeks his headaches weren't happening anymore because there was no more stress. I don't care for the man but I won't belittle a man, any man, for health issues. we are better than that.
