Unlikely Heroes

I, along with most everyone here have been very critical of Sheridan and Shahfer this season. But wow, both showed up today and executed. And although Sheridan is not the face of our future, today really did show how we can run an ideal spread offense with a mobile QB, stable of RB's and solid play from our WRs. not to mention our OL kicked some serious ass.

Well, instead of going with the 3-3-5 this week, they went with the 4-2-5 nickel for most of the game.  Of the three starting LB's, Thompson is the worst in pass coverage.  So it only makes sense that he would be pulled in favor of the fifth DB.
