Uniformz: There will be Ugly Green Pants Worn

Submitted by alum96 on

I was actually a fan of what MSU rolled out uniformz wise two years ago, however today's "all green" look - not so much.  The pants...the pants... will be greeeeen  See here for fugly.    I call this the "green giant" look.

I'm  on record that UM and USC have the 2 best looking uniform packages and they should really never really change them ... at least their home unis- great helmets, great color combos.  I get why other programs do it and sometimes it works great.  This is not one of those times.

On a somewhat more important note Bosch, Glasgow, and Magnuson catch a small break as 6th year DT (23 years old, almost 24) Tyler Hoover is out for the game.

Honestly, it proabbly would've taken me half the 1st quarter to figure out what was different about their uni's. This is tame as farm as uniformz go

I hope we don't feel the need to uniformz-up as well.

As always, I'll argue in favor of the occasional blue pants on the road. I'd maybe go for an all blue at home once in a rare while.

Bring back the road block Ms too. Other than that, I like the uniforms more or less as they are. No all maize plz no matter what.

January 1st, 1976, and Michigan wore their all white road uni's for the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma for the very last time.  A modernization of this look is what I long for.  They wore all white from 1974-75 on the road and I still can't believe we havent brought these back out for at least ONE game in the past 37 years.
