That joke is not old yet, I love it.

Too bad Glen Rice Jr. didn't give Michigan any serious looks.

should read - (note the change from the plural to the singular and the ARE before the belong) - but plus for the in context use of that phrase.
All your former and current players' son and/or sibling are belong to us!

can't find any sort of rating or video?

That was one bad man or dog in his case, I only hope his kid develops his father's skills.

Robinson III will certainly help this team out! Welcome aboard big guy.
September 14th, 2010 at 6:56 PM ^
I will take all the Robinsons I can get at UM... Welcome!

Looks like another solid pickup for Beilein. Given how few scholarships are left for 2011 and 2012, this early commitment would seem to ratchet up the pressure on others with U-M offers.
How about the son of a former Wolverine to keep the NBA relative train rolling--Kellen McCormick for the class of 2012? Perhaps as another preferred walk-on?

Fab Five era players have KIDS old enough to go to college? Damn I'm old.
September 14th, 2010 at 7:10 PM ^
Juwan Howard Jr., a freshman at Western Michigan this fall, might have been the first son of a player from that era to reach college.
September 14th, 2010 at 8:04 PM ^
Felt old then too. And a little bad he wasn't good enough to come to Michigan. (Darn mom genes). Well, 4 more Fab offspring we have a chance on. Though if Webber can't come to the school, any future kids seem out.
September 14th, 2010 at 8:24 PM ^
I'm sure you were joking about the "mom genes," but Howard Jr.'s mom was Markita Blyden, who was a pretty good basketball player herself. She was runner-up for Michigan's Miss Basketball in 1990.
Found a nice article on Howard Jr. at espn.com: Howard follows in family's footsteps

But +1 for good, reality based news/information.
Too bad the kid is probably still getting beat by his mom one on one.
(I'm still kidding...!!)

Lake Central is just over the line from Chitown so he is running with big dogs from high schools that produced Hummel, Novak and many other great players recently and over the years.
WIth Indiana's goofy as shit no alcohol on Sunday law, you can easily obtain beer by crossing into ILL and going to Line Liquors. At least this was the drill for my homies who chose intramurals, frisbee and pink floyd over organized sports.
Don't be like me kid...wait until you get to Ann Arbor.

Bo Bless him

Like the pickup. Versatile guy that will fit well in this offense. High basketball IQ.
