Huge, huge win on the road, should lock us up for the tourney.  Great job guys, Go Blue!

The great thing about hockey as a bubble team (and the terrible thing about it as a 1 seed) is that it's a random enough sport that single elimination is a crapshoot.  Get in and who knows if we'll be in the Frozen Four.

Yeah. Would be nice to be on the underdog side of it. Get a good draw, and who knows?

Right now I would just love to get in, and the fact that we're on the right side of the bubble with a couple of games left in the regular season means that the team has already done everything I could have hoped for this year.

A result on Sunday would be great.

Where is this “Kentucky” Connection? Are you comparing USNTDP to McDonald’s All Americans? That’s all I can deduce from your post. The USNTDP generally has bright kids. Going from Ann Arbor public schools to PCEP is either a wash or a slight upgrade, considering where these kids come from. Plymouth to Ann Arbor should definitely be a thing, however, there are a lot of MSU alum in this area, as well, which may “negatively recruit” UM as well. Here’s to hoping Billets put the young person’s life ahead of their fandom.

Michigan still has to get better on the PK and take fewer penalties, but dominated the 5 v 5 play in this matchup. Got the early lead and played well and balanced. Lavigne has really emerged as a good/great goalie that can bail the team out when there are mistakes, but the improvement the team has showed even during the season has been terrific. Mel has done wonders for this team. Time for the sweep on Sunday

For fun, I gave us 3 more wins to close the regular season and calculated it on pairwise... and it moves us up to 9. But, then when I randomly picked mostly favorites for other team's games it dropped us back down to 12th. I think our best bet is a solid 3 seed if we finish well, which I'm thrilled with.
