Per ESPN. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4574560

I was browsing the Internet and came across very tragic breaking news. We open our upgraded stadium next season playing host to UConn, who will be without cornerback Jasper Howard. Following an on-campus altercation, Howard was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford where he has been pronounced dead. Horrible.

I just read this myself...I can't imagine a group of college kids having to deal with a loss like this. Unfair and truly sad for the family.

Even more crazy was that it happened ON campus and the suspected killer is still at large. You wonder what could cause violence like this on such a small campus. Awful...

News media is now reporting it was the West Indian Student Association, and they allowed non-university related people to attend.

This is starting to look like maybe he and his friend mouthed off to some Jamaicans, and they took care of getting payback Kingston style. It appears to meet the pattern, right down to pulling the fire alarm and stabbing the victims in the rush.
