Was complete shit by both teams. Uncontrolled erratic scuttling by both teams. I’m hoping we take a deep breath and pull it together for overtime

The one-game nature of this is exciting, and it's paying off. In terms of event status and fan experience this is already waaaay better than previous B1G tournaments. Very impressive that OSU was able to fill most of the lower bowl, looks great on tv.

The NCAA tournament should be like this.

in the first GD minute of overtime? All three defenders in the zone looked like they were fucking gliding. Fucking dammit.

That was way too easy for the first minute of overtime. Fuck.

Their field hockey, cross country both men and women, men's soccer, women's lacrosse and volleyball are all crap. Both their men and women's swim programs while not crap are never going to beat Michigan.

We're top to bottom as an athletic department better than them right now. It's just Football laying turds on the field against them year after year clouding perceptions.

was meant to be taken with the suggestion that their recent superiority in a limited few sports is somehow a result of their "refusing to accept mediocrity." Or by implication, that our teams have accepted mediocrity. It's a lazy narrative that ignores the complexity of why the two schools' football teams have experienced profoundly different results for the past 10 seasons.
