True enough, we made TWIS...but OU is the headliner

By “it,” I mean losing games to double-digit underdogs, which the Sooners have now done in seven consecutive seasons. The latest installment: a 38-31 home loss to 31-point dog Iowa State on Saturday, the Cyclones’ first win against OU since 1990.

The Sooners tumbled from No. 3 in the AP Poll to 12th. They’ve gone from the inner circle of the Playoff picture to periphery. How’d Sooners fans take that?

You’re aware that Oklahoma’s head coach is now Lincoln Riley. It is not Bob Stoops, who stepped away last summer after two decades on the job. Every indication is that Stoops left because he’d had enough of being OU’s head coach and thought the time was right to hand the reins to Riley. But one poster has another idea.

Oklahoma’s defensive coordinator is Mike Stoops, Bob’s brother. The Sooners defense has been mediocre for a while now, carried along by a consistently great offense. Calls for Bob to fire Mike were frequent during Bob’s years as head coach.

"Michigan Football seems to be...stuck in the realm of past Glory...." More than a little tired of that constant meme that Michigan haters are always spewing.

Because it’s so true? Is that why it hurts to read? I’ve been a Michigan fan for 30+ years and was in school for the 97 championship run, it’s 100% accurate. The people on this board are fucking delusional and it’s pathetic. The smugness is so irrational and the piety is so undeserved at the point. Have some fucking humility and be humble and stop taking stupid fucking cheapshots like spelling Dantonio’s name wrong or Staee—especially immediately following a loss, or Urban Liar. That shit is so fucking bush league and it makes us look like pathetic jackasses.

That loss is a program defining loss for the wolverines, while also being a program defining win for the Spartans. We'll see where UM goes from here. If Michigan somehow gets to 10 wins this year they will have certainly earned it.

I thought the funniest thing I saw on here was when someone asked what makes Pep Hamilton special and MaizeandblueWahoo said "well his name is one letter away from pee, which it looks like he's done all over the playbook". That had me dying.

Man, after reading this board, well, a good part of it, I thought for sure we would have won TWIS in a blowout!  I mean, throw in MLive, Detnews, and Freep...  OU must have some seriously distraught peeps hanging on!!

For some of the hate they get at least can some big wins every few seasons . Last year they smoked Auburn in a major bowl and did so to Alabama a few years ago . They also at least the final 4 and national championship game 8 years ago. What has Michigan done in the last decade ?
