Top 5 Michigan Hype Videos on B/R (You'll be Surprised)
If there's one thing that is practically universal among the MGoBlogerati, it's the tenet that the Bleacher Report is beyond God awful. If you take their bait when Googling for Michigan content, you will inevitably be shocked by the terrible writing, lack of context, and misapplication of fact and opinion. And then, I stumbled upon this piece which absolutely falls under the category of "exception proving the rule" (except for the annoying one or two sentence paragraph construct - that's still employed - and that's no exception to the B/R rule).
More than any other fan base in the nation, Michigan fans are going through arguably the most strenuous offseason.
The summer is hard for all college football fans. The days are long, the weekends are even longer. But with everything surrounding the Wolverine’s program, those days and weekends become never ending as they fill with the pain of extreme anticipation.
That pain becomes even more agonizing when you add into it the tumultuous offseason Michigan fans have endured.
Sanctions, position battles, hot seats, you name the problem and chances are the Wolverines have it.
But all of that, all of those problems, and all of that agony, can go away when trounced by the pleasure of wins and the elixir that is victory.
Unfortunately, such a remedy cannot be obtained for more than a month to come. In the meantime, fans must get their fix through the ever popular “hype video”.
The selection and description of the five hype videos is remarkably... good.
The gent who penned this piece is a recent Michigan grad who majored in English (with some spurious ND connections). Mr. McNish, I don't know if you're part of the MGoBlogerati, but if you are, good on you. I actually look forward to seeing your next contribution.
I've seen all of these videos before but I just had to watch them all over again. 1 & 2 are by far my favorites because of the song choices. Can't wait to get this season started.
I created Number Five. I am gobluemetim i showed it on here
Personally I thought yours should of been #3!!! Great video none the less.
Thanks bro
Can you make one using Eminem's "Not Afraid" song? Am I the only one that thinks this song would be pretty sweet mixed with Michigan clips?
I thought about it for a while, I may still. Now you got me thinkin about it agian
I guess I got negged because my request seemed ungrateful. It really wasn't meant to knock your work, it's actually fantastic. Good work, sir.
Roundtree absolutely wrecked the Purdue defender in the third video.
but where's the polar bear video?!
Nicely done and the song is perfect for the video. The last image is amazing as well.
Liking the color distortion/explosion to normal in #4.
I know they were only talking about 2010, but by far the greatest hype video I have ever seen is the one from OSU last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4ZtcHd0-CA
Please excuse my MGoIgnorance of how to embed the video
Is it my computer, or does the beginning of this video not display maize? Michigan's uniforms look...interesting.
It is supposed to look like that.
Ahh, i thought i noticed it getting maize before the RAWK music, when Bo was still giving the Team speech. Yeah, I'm slow today.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to thank you all for the encouraging compliments. They've truly made my day, week, and month (seriously). I'm glad you all enjoyed the article so much, and my sincere gratitude is extended to all those who took time out of their day to read my thoughts. Especially you, MGoShoe, whom I have the utmost respect for within this community. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Ryan
Thank you Mr. McNish. I'd love for you to post more often on this site. God knows there can never be too much interesting and compelling content on MGoBlog.
...deserved. Good luck with your writing efforts and I hope you end up somewhere where your talents will be more appreciated.

I'm the proud owner of #2 on that list, but Brian and Paul should be listed as co-authors or something, because the 2009 Sometimes When You're On video was obviously my inspiration. I just couldn't think of a more appropriate theme for 2010, so as the saying goes, "if you can't beat 'em, try to improve on their highlight video."
