be, but playing time is always a major draw for kids....

Good offers, but if he's committed and visiting to only one other school, there has to be a decent chance for us to get him.
Then you throw in playing time, a good football future (has to be better than UCLA right) and academics, who knows what can happen.

Apparently he is VERY interested in Florida, his family is also considering maybe moving there. I would guess that they are probably the favorite if he chooses not to go to UCLA.

if we could get this kid to change his mind and hop on board. Here's to hoping.

Get 'em on campus and anything is possible.
Question: while Jefferson is listed as a S according to Rivals & Scout, we are pursuing him as an OLB, correct?

I think you are correct. Based on our recruits from last year, I'm guessing he is similar physically to Isaiah Bell.
I haven't heard much about Bell this year. I wonder how he is developing.

That, and he wants the #1 at Zingerman's.

he gets a chance to talk with DW. and given all the love DW has gotten in regards to the nfl you never know

It can't hurt to get him on campus, especially with all the help we need at linebacker/secondary. And.... as Sam Webb always says, once you get him on campus, anything could happen.

Glad he's coming. I don't know where he's from, but Ca. is a long way from here. There's always a chance he'd like
to be closer to home.
