HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Twice he has been the significantly higher seed, 2 vs 15 and 3 vs 11, one of those was the first game, and both times his teams were "National Title Contenders"
To add insult to injury, his greatest recruiting class is 1-3 against Michigan and has never made a Sweet 16.
Who would've thought that 3 years ago?
11 seeds are tougher to beat than 15 seeds
For our sake I hope he doesn't
Looks like you chose the hard way again.
Pathetic...he needs to go. The game has passed him by and his players don't seem to even respond to him anymore.
Bridges returns to win it all. Not.
Certainly was for me!
And think of his escape route when the Feds come callin'
Coached his last game???
You call that coaching?
Subs vs. scrubs
this was supposedly his best roster ever...
but honest question have any players actually become better at MSU?
i mean maybe Valentine?
just seems like they get by on athleticism and when they get shutdown scheme-wise, Izzo has no answers and they resort to Hero ball.
Langford looked invisible, as did Jackson. Bridges might have had a couple of moments, but nothing of consequence...Certainly nothing under the bright lights
Bye izzo
Give that Sparty co-worker all the shit in the world tomorrow. Invent strange new forms of trash talking. You've earned it! Just remember that Michigan State University sold its soul...for that.
Beilein has more sweet sixteens and Big Ten Championships than Izzo, while having "worse" recruiting classes in 5/6 years.
Beilein has done it with integrity and coaching ability, not steroids and playing anyone who isn't legally incarcerated.
Izzo looks like he has aged 10 years this season
He plays a brand of ball that is going extinct. Like Jim Harbaugh.
This past summer, Winston said, "We got everybody back now, it's going to be a scary year.”
Your right Cassius, it was a scary year...
Now everyone needs to stop hyping MSU every March. I'm so sick of seeing them as the trending Final Four team with people just saying well Izzo?
do any of his players get better? maybe winston's shot; rest of his game not so much. maybe mcquaid a bit. ward maybe but even he disappeared the last month. no one else really. a senior nairn doesn't even play. bridges, jackson, langford zero improvement.
So, over the last six years:
-Michigan has advanced further than MSU in the tourney three times (2013, '17, '18);
-MSU has advanced further than UM once (2015);
-The two have reached the same point twice ('14, '16).
That's including the two years where our backcourt was crippled by injury.
