This incessant need to relate everything back to MSU sounds more like we have the issues and not them. Who fing cares about who got the fing time slot. Is he bitching about the seeding as well? Is he bitching about being in Duke's pod? He very well could be thinking similarly to many about us and snickering at how hard our bracket is; and we are going to need to find something quick to make a run.

Let's all try to focus on Michigan and not give a fing shit about any one else right now. Mmmkay, grrreeaattt!

Here is some possible Insight from the just finished Big 10 Tourney. The Big 10 tournament had a total of 11 games. These were sold as a packet with six passes. Thursday, there were two passes, each with two games. Friday, two passes, each with two games. Saturday, one pass, with the two semi final games. And Sunday, just the championship game, obv.

My guess is that the NCAA is selling a pack of 3 games in two tickets or two passes:  one ticket/pass is good for a pair of games in a region, and the second ticket/pass is good for one game two days later. Technically, the ticket for the two Thursday games is meant to be used by one individual, with no reentry to the stadium on the same ticket/pass. However, cigarette smoking creates a big loophole. No venues allow you to smoke inside, but they do allow you to smoke outside, provide your ticket is scanned. What this meant is that there were crowds of people outside the United Center smoking in the time between a pair of games. If someone was industrious enough, they could (cough cough) go out for a cigaratte, and give the ticket/pass to someone else to reenter for the second game. This especially works well if there is a seperate ticket (likely, imhe) for the next game.

What I will tell you for sure is that 4 games in one day can be both exhausting and expensive. This is just a lot of time. You end up going out to dinner and getting back late for games you don't care about. I kept costs down by tailgating in the UC parking lot, because the food, while good, was expensive. $4.25 for a bottle of water is rich for my blood.

Anyone know if CBS will broadcast into Shanghai? I'm heading there for work on Wednesday but hear that the Internet connection to US sites is hit or miss.
