We have the Longhorns visiting the Cyclones. Hopefully this is a good game with minimal defense and lots of know, a typical Big 12 match.

He definitely could use some improvement, but for a guy who's in the first few weeks of his announcing/analyst career I've been pretty impressed.

I think the average view may get annoyed because he has tendancy to over analyze prior to the play, but I think that makes it all the more interesting. He was a little hesitant in Week 1, but there was a few times (maybe 4 or 5) where he correctly predicted the route/pass combination to key on prior the snap. Then last week he was almost as excited as any of the players on the field for CIN/GB as that came was coming down to the wire.

Glad there is a P5 NCAA game on since most NFL Thursday games are ugly turnover fests. Why though is Iowa state wearing those pants? They don’t match at all, looks like they all lost their pants and had to borrow from another team

That was one of the most malicious hits I’ve seen. The guy’s wrapped up, defender goes full missile mode lowering his head and then tried and nearly succeeded in taking Adams’ head off.

Bo and Lloyd Carr got some run in the Iowa State-Texas game. The Iowa State DC, Jon Heacock, was a grad assistant for Bo in the late 80s, and they were talking about how Bo still influences him.
