Thursday Night Drinking Thread?

Submitted by KennyGfanLMAO on December 11th, 2014 at 9:27 PM

I am inspired to make my first drinking thread because FINALS WEEK IS OVER. I know many of you have graduated already and might want to save your drinking for tomorrow night, but I'm already drunk and I've already decided to post it.

"It is decided!!!!" - The League reference.

I stumbled across an $8 fifth of 100 proof peppermint Schnapps. I'm not sure if there is a drink more fitting to end finals week. Yes, I am drinking it staight, and yes, with every sip it does feel like a giant candy cane is slapping me in the face...WHAT ARE YOU DRINKING???

EDIT: I would like to apologize to those of you currently attending UofM. Your finals week is next week. Which is still a solid reason to drink if you ask me.

Just lost my wife's grandmother tonight. It's been a shitty last week or so, but she's at peace. My wife and mother in law just got back to the house, so it's a pot of coffee tonight.

If you are human then it never gets easier as long as that person gave their full effort.  And letting someone go should never be a surprise if you are doing a good job as a manager providing feedback and coaching them.  If you want to see the right way to do it watch Hackett's Hoke press conference again.  To paraphrase, when you decide to change someone's life you take your time and make sure it's the right move.  Then you deliver it in a fair and respectful way.

And if you want to refresh your confidence in Hackett, watch the press conference again.  This guy is A BOSS who will bring a huge upgrade to our football program.  The Emperor is on a mission.  He came in for one reason:  restore the program one leader at a time.  Hackett doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who stumbles into his results.  He is calculated, measured, confident and will get our guy.  Swim lanes, my friends.  Trust the swim lanes.

That being said...  Rogue Dead Guy Ale.  And a Pyramid Snow Cap Ale.  Tremendous beers here in the Pacific Northwest.
