I could be misinterpreting the poster above, but I assume Rutgers is thrown in there for kicks. I mean, their newfound bluster is cute, but I would think that when the game actually comes, we will just pat them on the back, chuckle and half-heartedly and insincerely apologize for what must happen next. They are trying to make this a thing, the Michigan-Rutgers rivalry, and for this amusing sidebar to college football, I will give them credit....a little bit of credit, mind you, but credit.

right now with the kiddo. One of the teachers, all decked out in Spartan gear, continues to just randomly say "Go green." He knows we are a Michigan family, because my daughter wears Michigan stuff to school. Quite certain he's just trolling. I'm obviously not going to get into it with him re: Michigan's superior academic reputation. I really need Michigan to win that damn game this year to shut up all the buttholes like that guy.
