I met Kovacs' parents and sister at our hotel in Chicago before the 2012(?) Northwestern game - they all seem very athletic.

Like others, there are moments in the last couple years that I've missed Kovacs definitely, but I believe that he's been back with Miami for a year now (I think he was in Philadelphia for a short while but released) and has been seeing action this preseason too.
Speaking of #11 bearers, a couple years ago, a colleague of mine found a rare photo of the Wisterts in a consignment shop in Tecumseh (I think that's where he said) for about $30. He said he took it to someone he knew at Michigan and it turns out it was a university photo taken by the team photographer at the time and worth considerably more than what he paid.
