Thank you, Seniors.
I just wanted to take this opportunity on Senior night to thank the seniors for what they have done for Michigan Basketball. It wasn't always pretty, or flashy, but these young men gave their everything for 4 years to help restore Michigan Basketball to its once proud state. It's a shame that their last home game was a loss, but they should know they will ALWAYS be appreciated and loved by Michigan fans. They are true Michigan Men.
Now let's win this thing with house money.

Every Michigan fan owes you both an undying debt of gratitude. Tonight might have sucked, but it was just one night over a period of four years.
Thanks for being two key pieces in the rebuilding and restoration job that has been done with the basketball team the last four years. I hope to see either or both of you coaching someday.

THANK YOU TWO. What you have done for this program will never be forgotten. End it with even more style and go upset some more giants just how you started your careers.

IMO, with the game on the line, and needing a shot to win it, there is nobody I'd rather see taking it than Zack or Stu. Hang those numbers up please.

This really can't be said enough. I would argue that these seniors are no less impressive than the football class of seniors that just left us. Thank you Zack and Stu...it's really hard to believe that that was their last home game. The 2008-09 run to the tourney feels like it was only yesterday.
This was obviously not the outcome that anybody, let alone Zack and Stu, was looking for, but I feel pretty confident that these seniors will take it upon themselves to make sure that the sting of this loss doesn't linger longer than it needs to. There are still quite a few games to win.

They were the poured concrete foundation for this program and will be forever remembered as such.

If there is anything sad about our recent success and awesome recruiting classes, it is that we won't have another Zack or Stu. As much as I'm thrilled to be locking up top recruits like McGary, I'll miss these kinds of success stories. I wish we could have sent them out with a win.

Novak is one of those guys 20 years from now, no one will remember except the people who actually watched the games. He played the hardest, guarded guys 5-6 inches taller than him every night and held his own, and we'll always have what should be referred to as "The Zack Novak Game" where it was Novak who led Michigan to their first win at the Breslin Center in 15+ years.
Stu, man, I've given you crap over the years for frustrating turnovers and poor shot selection, but you gave a damn just like Novak did.
Congrats to the Seniors!

I'm happy that these young men have been fine examples of student-athletes for 4 years and are going to graduate. I wish them nothing but the best.
Sad because I'm going to miss watching them both.
My son is 14 and has been a rabid Novak fan since he played elementary basketball. He totally patterns his game from him right down to having a shooting guard body but playing power forward. His HS team is getting new uniforms next year and he has convinced the coach to get a "0" jersey. Initially his coach was against it, but after seeing and learning about Mr Novak (coach is an ACC fan) he is allowing it.
I'm trying to find decent tickets to the PSU game so that we can say goodbye with a win.

Why does nobody ever think to thank the señors?

Zack and Stu need something etched in stone in Crisler. Doesn't need to be flashy; just a permanent reminder of their contribution to the program.
