Terrelle Pryor Arrested?

Submitted by turbo cool on
fellow michigan fans of haters of tOSU has anyone heard about Terrelle Pryor getting into a fight last weekend and possibly arrested? There were some folks talking about this on the buckeye scout boards. at this point, on my part, this is completely speculative. so, that's why i'm wondering if anyone out there has heard anything yet? anything anyone?

.....be true. Not because I am pissed he did not come here (i'm not), but because I laughed at all the empty seats at the Shoe the other day and noticed a bizarre sense of apathy among the local Bucknuts about their team. If there prize got arrested, well then, well then, I would just love listenig to their fans melt down.

However, for the young man's sake, I hope he is not in trouble.

You might not want to throw too many stones with your 'empty seats' comment.  I cannot make the game this weekend because of another commitment.  I've been trying to unload my Wisconsin tickets for less than face for over a week.  I can't give these things away.  craigslist is saturated.  this isn't a hot ticket.  and I'd say it's the second best ticket on our whole season package, behind moo u!

So, you might want to hold off on the empty seats comment until you see how much red is in our house on saturday.

I can never seem to unload any extras, and I usually have one or two for each game...but, I live in buckeye country, so most of the football fans around here dont want to go up to AA......been going on for years......howeva, I've never seen swaths of empty seats like they were in the end zone for the Troy game on Saturday.

There's a sentiment of discontent and apathy that I have not felt in years down here.....i like it.....and anything that continues that trend I am all for.

And, if we drop these next two games like all the pessimists seem to expect, we will have those empty seats......but we've had apathy issues at UM games now for several years, if you ask me.

Also, who does not expect a lot of Red on Saturday? Michigan Stadium usually has a large opposing team fan base present. I swear the whole state of Oregon and Utah showed up for those games......how about when UW came to town in 2002.....or going way back to the Miami and FSU games.

Shoot, the Big House was crawling with Cheeseheads the last time they were here in 2006.....its very easy to get tickets to a UM game......which is why I always have trouble getting rid of the random extra or two that I have.

I don't want to sound like the typical arrogant Michigan fan, but I'm glad Terrelle Pryor didn't come to Michigan, I don't want someone that thinks that he is above the rules or the team coming into this program and give us someone like Maurice Clarett, he's just another in the long list of Clarett clones at O-State...I'm probably going to get a lot of flak for this, but I don't care. I'm not saying every player on the team is an angel, but, other than Kevin Grady and Marques Slocum, who has been arrested recently or done poorly academically?

Give me Clarrett and Pryor if it gives me a national title. Let's be honest, without Clarett OSU probably loses 3-4 games the year they won the title...not to mention the play where he stripped the ball away from sean taylor after they threw a pick in the end zone. I would take him,

Um, Larry Harrison was caught showing off his cock through the windows of sorority houses.  That's way more fucked up than sitting in a non-moving car while having a really high BAC.  Not as terrible at the Clarett stuff, but pretty f-ed, nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure Terelle Pryor would have to murder someone in front of a judge to get arrested.  They have so many strings to pull around there for people like him it's rediculous.  Oh yeah, and the judge would have to be from somewhere outside of Ohio.

This season was NC or bust for the Bucknuts.  Now that USC slammed the door on OSU's NC hopes in a resounding fashion, I'm guessing most OSU fans could give a rat's ass about another Big Ten title.  Meh.

TMos - you are going to get flak because you are a total, complete, 100%, asshat for saying that.

What the fuck has Pryor done to suggest that he will:

-take money

-get kicked out

-get booted from 3 NFL teams

-threaten suicide with a bottle of Vodka in one hand, and a shotgun in another

Because that's what you compared him to. And what has he done to warrant that, other than choose OSU? Absolutely fucking nothing. He got into a fight in a basketball game. That's it. How does he "see himself above the program"?

It's assholes like you that give college fans a bad name - because they obsess about 18 year old children, and want to mete out the harshest penalties possible when they fail (Kick Grady off the team!). I wish you were ever successful enough, at anything, to know what it feels like to have complete fucking strangers care about a personal decision you make - and then judge you about it. Then, maybe, you'd think twice about throwing a stone at Pryor.

Oh, and I can find no record of Marques Slocum ever getting in trouble for anything. He is off the team because he failed to stay eligible - not because he was arrested.

Carson Butler, Johnny Sears, Mario Manningham, Adam Kraus, and Adrian Arrington all had disciplinary issuse ranging from pot, to drinking, to beating the shit out of a student, to beating women.

I will hear none of this.  This is Michigan dammit.  We are squeaky clean.  Griese never was arrested for throwing something through a window of Scorekeepers.  Fab Five never existed, etc, etc, etc.

Then again, if being arrested is a pre-requisite for winning a national championship, we should be in much better shape than we are, and that might explain Penn State's run this year.

Griese got so drunk that he threw a chair through the window in the front of Scorekeepers.  I mean, my friends and I have all wanted to do it, but never had the right mix of liquid courage and ability to control our movements.

Also, with Denver, Griese allegedly "tripped over his cat" and twisted his ankle.  All the rumors seemed to indicat the "cat" was in fact a lot of Jack Daniels.

Sometimes when you get kicked out of Skeeps for being too drunk, you need to express your anger with the situation. Unable to form coherent sentences at the time, Griese used the ISL sign for 'I am displeased.'

I fault Griese in no way. he was just being multi-lingual

I would have paid like 10 grand to spend one night out drinking with Cedric Benson, Lance Briggs, Griese, Orton, and Grossman. Between the assaults on windows, drunken boating, sex cannoning, beer bongs, JD, and crashing cars into highway embankments at 3 in the morning and running, it would be well worth the money.

and thus, by definition, are of much higher character than all other athletes, scientists, politicians (well, thats wasn't setting the bar very high) and saints.  And as Michigan men, their transgressions are, again, by definition, entirely excusable.

Tyrell Pryor, by chosing not to attend Michigan, demonstrated that hes was not a MICHIGAN MAN and thus of greatly inferior character.
