Tater/Denard an A for Pat Forde
Sometimes moderately entertaining, Pat Forde pays M's 2 freshman QBs a huge compliment by ranking them a big, fat A for their performance in Week 1, ahead of Matt Barkley and Russell Shepard. Very nice!

I had to fight back laughter at the comment about the compliance staff considering I am at school right now. I am glad that we aren't the only ones who will be rooting for Michigan/against ND this week.

Got a chuckle from this part of Forde's piece (10)
"Which brings me to this week and the Notre Dame game. We need you to put the Fighting Irish back in their place, Rod. They're getting uppity again. Promise me your team won't turn it over six times and rack up 79 penalty yards, like you did in South Bend last season. Promise me your guys will be ready.
To that end, I'm sending your compliance staff on a mandatory, five-day retreat in the Upper Peninsula to let you guys really prepare. Like, as much as you want to. If you go over 20 hours this week, who's counting?"

Good old Forde can't resist throwing in off-color humor about something he knows nothing about. I like praise regardless of where it comes from, but Forde is still a giant douche.

The thing about praise from Forde is that his knowledge is so superficial, his insights so reactionary and littered with tired references, that the praise just feels flat. Hell, last week he was knocking RR and the program - http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/pat-forde-find-new-profession, and now he is back supporting the team because they won?
Just an idiot all around.

I love college football. I read as many columnists as possible. However, Pat Forde ("Forde Yard Dash") is just painful to read. There's no substance to his articles. He drools all over some girl ("Dashette") to the point of stalkerish/creepy. And then he does some stupid formatting where he places sequential numbers through his article.
