I saw Mason Proper back in 2007 with Great Lakes Myth Society and Dead Bodies at the Blind Pig.
I preferred Great Lakes Myth Society and Dead Bodies. But Mason Proper were okay.

Yes, they are. They were my favorite of the night. Their vocal harmonies are pretty groovy, too.

Mason Proper is from my hometown. One of Mason Proper's moms is besties with my mom. Yes, I said "besties" and should probably be banished from mgoblog for life.

...I thought it was about "Super" Offensive Tackle Mason Walters from Texas (obvs I wasn't remembering the last name clearly). Sadly, I somewhat like Mason Proper, but the context threw me off.
Also, my mom is frenemies with one of Mason Proper's great aunts.

I saw them open for Appleseed Cast. That was an amazing show.
