Sunday night What are you Drinking? thread

Submitted by Gobgoblue on

Or what did you have to drink today?   I realize it is Sunday, but we have (probably) just achieved #1 in basketball, so I view it as cause for celebration.

How long do you think we will sustain #1?

--I think until we go to assembly hall.

Denard Senior Bowl Highlights:

--He looks not so great, but with his work ethic and athletic abilities, I still think he will find some spot in the League.

Come up with anything else you want to talk about.   Derrick Green excitement is STILL welcome.

P.S.  No class until 1:00 tomorrow, as per the reason I'm posting this.  Hope someone else joins me!  I'm enjoying a tall, cold TWO-HEARTED.

What's so special about Sunday?  Hell if it were up to me we'd have a drinking thread every night.

Then again, I'm not very familiar with this "job" thing that people speak of.  Is the J silent?

but I'm far less classy tonight, Bud Ice, including one or two from a beer bong (gotta go full student every now and then). Also watching the latest episode of The Office On Demand, maybe with a movie after; no idea what, but I've been craving Star Wars V.

Had a couple Fat Tires during the game, and a celebratory Laphroaig afterwards.  Now, winding down with  a glass of wine and a soak in the hot tub.

Big day tomorrow - the big boss is in from Boston, so we're meeting in the a.m, discussing pipeline and close dates, then dinner (with wives) tomrrow and a couple meetings with key accounts on Tuesday.

Fortunately for me, I'm killing it right now.  He'll go home happy.

And hungover.

Go Blue.

Hopslam ( I bet you couldn't geuss that.)  Fortunate enough to have multiple multiple-page papers, along with several other assignments due tomorrow.

For the record, I think there should be one of these on a daily basis.

It'll definitely do what it was created to do. When I was younger, the liquor store around the corner from me used to sell three 40's of it for $4. My buddies and me would do what we called the Natty Ice Challenge, and see who could get through all three. I did it a few times, but hated myself in the morning/early afternoon.
