Sunday Night Getting Hammered Thread

Submitted by Doc Brown on March 10th, 2013 at 9:37 PM

So with Michigan basketball choking away the B1G title, I can barely think I am so pissed off. I threw a freaking temper tantrum at the end of the game that included swearing and throwing a t shirt across my living room. Right now I want to just drinking my woes away. I working my way through a sixer of Guinness stout.

I'm a big drinker, but not on a Sunday.  When I get pissed, I work twice as hard to prove that a Michigan degree is better.  That is much easier to do when we lose to OSU, because obviously I just need to wake up on Monday and drive to work in something other than a pizza delivery truck.

Stay thirsty, my friends.

This site is unbearable with losses.  M was about an inch away from winning that ball game.  1 inch and everyone's opinion of this team changes... I don't get it.  Win with grace, lose with grace.

...and I am starting to get mad about a breakaway where the first contact is a shove in the small of the back not being 2 and the ball.

I wasn't too mad during the game since I knew few refs have the courage to get that right. but that's a rule they need to fix. Change the wording so there is no ( or little) judgement

I'm not going crazy hammered tonight, but I won't deny that I've had a drink today.   Still have faith in our boys to get to the Elite Eight or better.  Go Blue and let's switch over to AMC soon!

trying to decide what's worse;

1. losing to OHIO last year in the tourney

2. Losing like we did to PSU, WIsconsin and Indy this year

or

3. that guy drinking an Ultra Pomegranate Raspberry beer

You know what's awesome? In the last game of the season, we were playing for a Big Ten title. And we were seconds away from getting it. I went to Michigan in the early 2000s, so I can appreciate how cool that is.

I'll drink to that.
