Streaks

Are there anymore streaks out there that need to be broken? Seems like every week some team is doing something against UM that they haven't done since 1900. Of course that is a great sign of success over the last 40 years, but holy crap i'm tired of seeing all of those streaks getting broken. I don't think there are any streaks left this year except OSU's against us, maybe that's a positive?

all the streaks. In the post-gamer he was asked about Purdue not winning here since 1966 and whether he knew about it or thought about it. RR's response was basically, he doesn't care about that streak or any streak. He said he doesn't think about that stuff, he doesn't think about last week. I understand that there probably isn't a good response he can come up with, especially right after getting beat. But, much of the Michigan tradition is built on the history of the records and dominance over many of the teams in the conference. As we all know, Michigan has been a leader on and off the field in the Big Ten and just as the Doug Karsch said just after the game, that every weeek another streak or record that Michigan held is being broken or ended. We as a fanbase and the former teams and the players take a lot of pride in many of those records and streaks. For RichRod to dismiss them as meaningless to him, IMO is disrespectfult to the program and the University. Comments like that don't help the image of this coach as he tries to right this ship. I am completely behind the staff and the program, but the repeated "I don't care about..." comments about much of the historic streaks that have fallen by the wayside is disturbing. There is one streak that I believe is over 250 games old and I fear to mention and hope it never gets broken.

still alive. Thankfully our offense is coming around. Home or away has nothing to do with this one. As far as I know, it's the longest streak in the Div. 1.
